Silver Shed is an artist-run, indoor-outdoor contemporary art project-space in New York started by Patrick Meagher, Oliver Lanz and Yunhee Min in Spring 2008. The opening project, launched June 14th, 2008, consists of three shows spanning seven months, featuring twenty-five internationally active artists. Organized as an opportunity for discussion amongst artists, curators, critics and the public, the project explores issues of 21st century consciousness, through exhibitions, moderated artist talks, and film screenings. The project and its related events and interviews will be recorded in a limited edition printed reader. The Silver Shed is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization.
